A Candidate for the People

Learn More About Robin Persiconi

Robin was born and raised in Livonia.  She is a graduate of Livonia Stevenson High School, the University of Michigan, and Wayne State University Law School.  As the daughter of immigrant parents, and first generation American, Robin grew up in a household where she learned that hard work and love for family was essential to success in life.  She began working at her father’s small business, Livonia Drugs, a landmark independently owned pharmacy  at the corner of 5 Mile and Farmington Road in Livonia at the age of 15, and hasn’t stopped working since.

Upon completing law school, she launched her own small business, and the Law Office of Robin Persiconi was founded.  Robin’s practice grew quickly, where she worked in various areas including criminal defense, family law, and landlord/tenant matters.  In addition to her retained work, Robin acquired contracts with courts representing defendants who could not afford to retain legal counsel and vigorously defended and advocated for those that are the most vulnerable and marginalized in our communities.   Through her work in indigent defense, she became highly knowledgeable in the various treatment court programs that are available in our communities and worked to save and change lives through advocating for treatment in lieu of punishment where appropriate.

After a successful 20 year run as a public defender, she began working as an assistant prosecuting attorney for the Townships of Canton, Northville and Plymouth.  Over the years, Robin has conducted over 500 trials, and has represented over 4,000 clients, highlighting her skills as a true courtroom attorney.

Robin maintains her practice while raising two amazing daughters with her husband of 19 years, Nino.  Their daughters are the center of their lives, and Robin and Nino enjoy spending as much time as possible with them, attending their school, sports and other extracurricular activities.  Nino is a proud member of the St. Michaels Knights of Columbus chapter and enjoys working out and mountain biking in his spare time.
